Norman Chief Memorial Dancers

Celebrating Indigenous culture, inspiring community, and promoting heritage.

Since 2004

Promoting community spirit through traditional Métis music and dance.

The group was founded in 2004 in memory of the late Norman Chief, a Manitoba musician, singer, and entertainer. Kevin is the group's leader, spokesperson, and MC at many of their events.

Community & fundraising

Supporting communities through music and dance

Strengthening community spirit, one event at a time.

The troupe performs at community and fundraising events throughout Manitoba, helping to support:

  • Children and youth initiatives: fiddling, jigging, sports, recreation, and cultural programs.
  • First Nations and Métis gatherings: Treaty Days, Métis Days, Square Dance Jamborees, and community celebrations.

Through their efforts, the dancers help local communities strengthen their bonds, celebrate Indigenous heritage, and raise funds for meaningful causes.
